Monday, June 5, 2017 – It Was Fifty Years Ago Today – Give or Take a Day or Two

Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band was released June 1, 1967.

It was twenty years ago today,

Sgt. Pepper taught the band to play

They’ve been going in and out of style

But they’re guaranteed to raise a smile,

So may I introduce to you

The act you’ve know for all these years

    Afer Sgt. Pepper was released, we gathered in Geny’s dorm room every night and sang the whole damn thing. There will never be another group as influential as the Beatles.
