Tuesday, June 14, 2016 – Vexillology – Flag Day

Good morning Boys and Girls. Our vocabulary word for today is “vexillology.” It is a noun that means – the study of flags.

Today is Flag Day. Your homework assignment is to study this one. I like it.

The AP version of this assignment is to locate all of the episodes of The Big Bang Theory where Sheldon (and Amy) record his internet hit series Fun With Flags and post them to my timeline.

Meanwhile I am going to study the tiny little flags that sit on poles that rest in 4.25 inch diameter holes on some pretty green grass. There are eighteen of them.

  1. Since I have never watched Big Bang Theory, I’ll opt out of this one. But at least I learned a new word!! Now, betcha a dollar I’ll hear it within 24 hours.

  2. Those as intelligent as The Elf, The Big Solid and Marley the Wayward Poodle must give it a try. The writing and acting is outstanding. It does take a couple of episodes to “get it.”
