Thursday, April 4, 2016 – Ferris Bueller and I Are Taking the Day Off

That is true. Today Ferris Bueller and I are taking the day off.

My plans include sitting, watching the first rounds of The Masters and listening to Merle Haggard songs. May you Rest in Peace, Okie from Muskogee. The Silver Wings took you away from this side, but can never take you away from our playlists.

    RIP MERLE!!! Pat and I saw him not too long ago in Vegas. He sang and talked for almost 2 hours without a break. Love your songs, Merle. (He was a few months younger than I am)
