Thursday, July 30, 2015 – Throw Back Thursday – SFA – 1971
Someone asked me the other day what my family did. I told them “We go to college. Then we go to college graduations. Then we go to and/or watch on TV our alma mater’s football teams.”
While the first to go to college was Big Don, I was second. Here is my beautiful family at my Stephen F. Austin State University graduation in 1971. Ax ‘Em Jacks!
The rest, as they say, is history. Nice hair, Dale. It is all yours?

OMG!!!! THAT HAIR!!!! Thank heavens that style is long gone for me. Yes, it was all my hair. I don’t think I ever washed it nor “took it down” until the next beauty shop visit which was once or maybe twice a week. Wrapped it up in toilet paper at night and stuck a “rat tail comb” in it to bring up the bit that had been mashed down during the night. AGAIN…..THAT HAIR!!! Now I have wash and wear hair, It’s washed every time I take a shower….never go to beauty shop…..just get it cut occasionally. Do you think a bird’s nest could be built in it???
