Tuesday, June 23, 2015 – Otiose
Today I am feeling otiose. Pronunciations – Oh-shee- ohs, Oh-tee
Otiose came to English in the late 1700’s from the Latin otiosus, meaning “at leisure.”
It means being at leisure, idle, indolent, ineffective or futile.
Yep, that is what I am feeling today – otiose. Hope you are feeling otiose today too.
Yes, I love being in a state of oitiosity; it’s very pleasant.
