Thursday, June 2, 2016 – Top Songs about the Rain

When I Googled “songs about rain,” I found a list of 10 and list of 20 top songs about rain. I listed six of my favorites. Any one of the songs that I listed will stay in your head all day. Here’s hoping your head is above water when you are singing.

1. Rainy Night in Georgia – Brooke Benton – 1970

Me: I feel like it is raining all over Texas.

2. Here Comes the Rain Again – The Eurythmics – 1984

3. Who’ll Stop the Rain – Creedence Clearwater Revival – 1970

Me: One of their best – more about dysfunctional America than you remember.

4. Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head – B.J.Thomas – 1969
